Lacey Estates - Baco Noir

2008 Baco Noir

Last year, Michael Pinkus called the 2007 Baco Noir "a different kind baco" and said that "(t)he palate is ... quite appealing". The 2008 Baco Noir has lots of dark fruit on the nose, and raspberry and leather. The palate is smooth velvet fruit forward with a nice balance of wood-to-acid tannins. The wine has a long finish and well balanced. Ontario Wine Diva Patricia Dinsmore describes it as "[b]lacker than SIN – that’s the only way to describe the colour – and the aromas and flavours are equally sinful..."

Suggested Food Pairing
– Grilled striploin
